Shop Cash rewards launch on Shop Day

Shopify celebrated its 17th birthday 🥳 on 2nd June.

But we’re the ones who got the gift, in the form of Shop Cash!

💡 If you’re a brand on Shopify and want to set up your Shop Cash campaign, head to your admin > select “Shop” under Sales channels > Marketing.

The Shop Cash program is currently in early access. The main criteria to be eligible is:

  • Store should be located in US

  • Store has a US Shopify payments account accepting USD

  • Shop Pay is activated

As a customer, to receive Shop Cash on your orders you have to use Shop Pay on the online store or purchase through Shop of a US based store. In addition, your payment card needs to have a US billing address.

Customers can make 1% of their order amount in Shop Cash but stores can set up offers to increase the amount of Shop Cash you can get if you purchase through them.

Recommended actions on fraud analysis

Fraud has always been among the top issues for almost any store.

The latest improvements to the fraud analysis come in the form of recommendations that suggest what action to take based on the customer’s risk profile.

Shopify already offers a broad range of fraud indicators about an order on each order page in your admin.

While fraud indicators are available on all plans, in order to get recommendations, your store needs to be on the Shopify plan or higher, or have Shopify payments enabled on any plan.
